Menu Plan Monday


We are still eating healthy and have been trying to find some great low fat recipes. For lots of more meal ideas check out OrgJunkie.


~Zucchini Sausage Pasta (I am just going to top whole wheat spaghetti w/ the sauce)


~Smothered Oriental Steak (WW), w/Brown rice and broccoli

~Cheese Stuffed Italian Chicken(WW), side dish, salad

~Buffalo Catfish strips(WW), raw veggies w/ranch dip, sweet potato fries



So speaking of eating healthy I have gone 7 weeks on no soda, it was really hard this weekend I just really needed that carbonation fix, but I grabbed a water instead. It was hard but I made it through it.
I still haven't lost to much weight I started at 148 (gees) and today I weigh 143. (That is in 4 weeks) I got at least 13 more lbs to go. It isn't even so much the weight as it is the big butt i have, I want that gone. I know it isn't all losing weight it is also feeling better and i must say I really do.

I'm really proud of you with the soda! I wish I could do that. Maybe someday!
You need to start taking pictures of some of hte recipes you make. I really want to try the mushroom pork chop one. Looks yummy!

i clicked on the pork chop one and it was the recipe for the sausage one...fix it! i want to see what the pork chop one looks like.

I'm so proud of you for grabbing water instead of soda! And also a little jealous that you have more self-control than me. LOL. That's great that you guys are eating healthier. Keep up the exercise, and I'm sure the weight will start coming off. Just remember: You are old now, so it's going to be harder. :D

So after I read this yesterday, I went to sit down and watch Psych. I got myself a snack to go with it. I started to reach for a (caffeine-free) Pepsi, but then I thought about your post. So I grabbed a bottle of water instead. Thanks for motivating me!!!
