Last pics of July

What a way to spend the last day of July, at the fountain park in Bremerton. This was actually our first time here and Wyatt would not go under the geysers.

We went to the park with the neighbor boy and his friend, that is them splashing each other in the background.
This was Dalton trying to get Wyatt to stay under with him, but Wyatt took off right as it was about to go.
Wyatt ducking away from the falling water.
Pretty cool you can see the ferry from there when it pulls in.

We had a pretty fun day, I feel bad though I was supposed to go scrap with Terry and since we have been staying at my parents house due to the heat I forgot all about it till we got home today and I saw it on my calander.

Trying to keep cool

On one of the hottest day of the year (got up to 105) so we went to Point no Point for the day. It was so nice their with a great breeze so it didn't seem so hot.

Cyndi took like 400+ photos but here are a few.

You up for it

Starting August 1st my sisters, some friends and I will be starting a Smokin Hot Challenge. This is not really a weight loss challenge because some of them aren't so much losing weight, but buffing up. So we are just getting our bodies Smokin Hot whatever that might be for you. Join us weekly to report your progress, goals and struggles.
You up for it?
See you in a week.

Reaping our rewards

So today I made Zucchini bread with our first zucchini from OUR garden. I have always done gardens with my mom, but this year decided to try ourselves and am really liking it. Thinking of going bigger next year. Here are a few pics from start to finish.

Zucchini Bread

3 C all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
3 tsp ground cinnamon

3 eggs
1 C vegetable oil
2 1/4 C white sugar
3 tsp vanilla
2 C grated Zucchini

Grease and flour two 8x4 inch pans. Preheat oven to 350.
Sift flour, salt, baking powder, soda and cinnamon together in bowl.
Beat eggs, oil, vanilla, and sugar together in large bowl. Add sifted ingredients to the creamed mixture, and beat well.
Stir in Zucchini until well combined.
Bake 40 to 60 minutes, or until tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on rack for 20 min. Remove bread from pan and cool completely. We actually like to eat it a littel warm with lots of butter, yum.

Changes

So I think it is time I make some changes around here-

- I need to finish reading my book 'Happy for no reason' the few chapeters I have read have been so inspiring.

-Derek wants to start going to church. We have talked about it for awhile now it's time to just do it. Now we just need to find one.

-No matter how frustrated I feel I will not talk about things with anyone. Being frusterated is no reason to talk about people, I am going to start a journal and deal with things that way. To much stuff is said to others then gets blown up and people get hurt, even when the stuff said was just said in frustration.

-My sister and I are starting a work out/ getting healthy challenge August 1, I need to keep up on that.

-I am going to go down next week and join a gym. I am going to start trying to work out at least three times a week and actually sweat, I really hate sweating. LOL

-Now that my sisters are all gone, no more soda or sweets (after I eat my cinnabon roll I bought us for dessert at the mall ;) )

-MORE WATER

-Get together with friends more and do some scrapbooking.

-Heck, scrapbook more whether it's with friends or by myself. Really need to catch up.

No I am not saying my life sucks, actually it is really good right now.
We are very happy. We do alot together as a family. Money is good. I love my husband and kids.

Derek and I will be married for 6 years in 4 days and it has been a great 6 years, he is a great man and would do anything for us.

A day in Snoqualmie,WA

So along with the Train ride we went to Snoqualmie Falls.
(See train pics in post below)
The boys at the observation deck.

So when we took our train ride we saw the Falls, while at the Falls we saw the trian coming by. Wyatt kept yelling 'There's Thomas, There's Thomas. I rode him'

I wish this pic came out better, can you see the two rainbows, one on top and one on bottom.

If it looks like a really big hill it is becsuae it is, there were three hills like this to get back up from seeing the falls at the bottom.

Hard to see but the falls are right in between us.
The boys did so good and made it back up so they got some ice cream to cool off.

Thomas the Train ride....

Hopping the tracks. On our way to the museum..

\
So this trip was a BIG surprise Wyatt had no idea what we were doing until he saw this drive by us on the way to the gate.As you can see he was so excited and was in shock a little I think. He got to meet Sir Topem Hat(sp). You were able to take pics with Thomas while passengers were getting off and on.They had several different stations the kids could go to- Coloring and Stamping. -Play with trains.
-Bouncy Train House
Here is us on out Train ride. Wyatt was so excited when he felt the train start to move. We read some train books while we waited.
The views were awesome. We saw Snoqualmie Falls and the river.I love this pic of them getting off the train.

Blowing in the wind

So my sister Kim and I got tattoos yesterday, we got the same one just in different places. Here are a few pics.
