Wyatt had a fun time at the sushi place, that is where Ester had her Bday dinner. Wyatt loved using the chop sticks he was pretty fascinated by them. He used them to eat his oranges and then his cake. And no I don't get sushi, yuk I had the chicken teriyaki.

Bad Day
Well it wasn't all that bad, just for me and my diet. I am getting so frustrated with this not losing weight thing that yesterday i snapped. I didn't exercises and we went out for Ester's Bday and I had 2 pieces of chocolate cake (mmm it was so yummy). I am just at that point where I am frustrated and didn't care, but a nice talk with Derek on the way home helped put me back on track. I mean come on 6 weeks of more exercise than I have done in a long long time, I am drinking more water each day than I did probably did in a month before and I have cut my calorie intake in half and it is all been healthy food. Grrr! Anyway I am OK now and just need to step it up I think we all need a small break down to step it up, helps motivated you to move up a level.

Menu Plan Monday
We are still eating healthy and have been trying to find some great low fat recipes. For lots of more meal ideas check out OrgJunkie.
~Zucchini Sausage Pasta (I am just going to top whole wheat spaghetti w/ the sauce)
~Pork Chops w/ Simple Mushroom Gravy, mashed pot., salad
~Smothered Oriental Steak (WW), w/Brown rice and broccoli
~Cheese Stuffed Italian Chicken(WW), side dish, salad
~Buffalo Catfish strips(WW), raw veggies w/ranch dip, sweet potato fries
~Dessert- Chocolate Ricotta Rolls
So speaking of eating healthy I have gone 7 weeks on no soda, it was really hard this weekend I just really needed that carbonation fix, but I grabbed a water instead. It was hard but I made it through it.
I still haven't lost to much weight I started at 148 (gees) and today I weigh 143. (That is in 4 weeks) I got at least 13 more lbs to go. It isn't even so much the weight as it is the big butt i have, I want that gone. I know it isn't all losing weight it is also feeling better and i must say I really do.

Look what I won
So a month back I entered a comment on Diaper Diaries blog to win a sample of each of Little Debbie's 100 snacks and I won. They showed up on my door step today, oh yum.
Also I wanted to share with you a few yummy things we ate recently. This recipe, Bulgar Beef Casserole , was so yummy. I thought it would taste weird cause I have no clue what Bulgar is, but even my hubby liked it.

Also when we ate alot at a local brewery, Silver City, I always got there yummy Spinach salad. And yesterday I found a recipe that tastes just like the dressing, oh it is so yummy. I found it in the new Everyday Food magazine.
Balsamic-Rosemary Vinagrette
Balsamic-Rosemary Vinagrette
In a blender combine,
1/3 c balsamic vinegar
1 samll clove garlic
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
1 Tbsp fresh rosemary(1/4 tsp dried)
2 Tbsp water
1/2 tsp coarse salt
1/4 tsp ground pepper
Blend intil smooth. With machine running add 1/2 c extra-virgin olive oil in a thin stream; blend until creamy.

makin pita chips
So I love Hummus and pita chips and it is actually a really healthy snack. But if you have ever bought pita chips they are pretty expensive so my sister, Jenefer, should me how to make them myself.
They turned out really good and my 3 yo son who is very picky, loved them. I toke the first batch off and put them on a plate with a little hummus to eat, I turned around and he had them eaten.
1 pkg Pita bread
I just cut them up and put them on a baking stone. Sprayed both sides with olive oil and cooked on 400 degrees for 5to 10 min. Some cook faster than other so I just took some off and flipped what was left and cooked a little longer.

Update.
Not to much going on here I just finished sweeping and vacuuming the floors. Did the dishes and bleached the sinks, nice and some what white.
I am still working out and eating healthy, no weight loss yet. NO SODA, NO CANDY! I have increased my water intake to at least 36 oz daily, if not more. It is weird though I get headaches from it almost feels like I am water logged, like when you are in a pool for to long. Great i am going to drown myself, hehe.
Still clipping coupons. Got lots for the refill of the house when a paycheck comes in. Want to say thanks to my sister, Jenefer, for her help. Love you!
Um ya so that I think sums it all up. OH Wyatt has school pics on next Tues., can't wait, so cute. And then he has his Valentine Party on Thursday. So lots of pics coming next week.

The Break Down
So this is my kind of end of the month slash end of the week break down.
So I am eating healthy, at 4 full weeks of NO soda or candy, and working out at least 3 xs a week on my parents elliptical machine.
I have only been working out for two weeks so I thought on this third week I would try to get a few more days at home working out. Since I was so out of shape been taking it slow on the amount of days I do. But I am starting to get frustrated, I have lost NO weight or inches. GRR! My pants are still tight, but Derek said just to keep at it it will take some time. AHH what ever I want to see it NOW.
My other goals have not happened at all, with no money I can't put any in savings or buy cards for people (sorry if I missed yours). kind of sucks. What little cash we get goes to buy simple food to get by on.
Let me say though the coupon thing is going so well. Having a blast finding and clipping them. Kind of like a treasure hunt to see what good ones I can find in the papers and online. Seems though sometimes all the coupons I find are useless.
In the next few days I will post some new photos. I will let you know when.
