Strawberry Shortcake Party

The Birthday Girl, Niz.
Thank You gifts for the kids. The girls got strawberry shortcake coloring books and the boys got boy ones.

The cake the birthday girl's aunt, Nette, made. Nette is actually a good friend and an amazing cake decoractor.

The cookies Nette made for the kids to take home.
The candy bags for kids to take home also.

Sorry everything is a little off on here. Everytime I try to change pics around Blogger deletes them.

-Finish Organizing for my Crop I am hosting on March 31 (food, drinks, shop)
-Boys here for Spring break (and with 3 teenagers going to be here time to Costco shop)
-Possible trip to Portland for the day (april 14) for Derek's birthday
-Decorate for Easter/Spring
-Monday- Wyatt has a Reading Olympics Medal Ceremony, Dentist at 330p and half day
-Date with my sister on Wenesday
-Clean 2 places this week

A little Saint Patty's

So I found this great idea from Lolly Jane Boutique. Mine was a little easier. I found these great shamrocks at Dollar Tree, you get 12 of them. So I actually could make 2 banners for $1. I figured it was way easier than cutting each shamrock out.

You'll need:
5 book pages, twine/string, tape, shamrocks, hot glue

1. Cut book pages into banners.
2. You can either cut out your own shamrocks or buy from the Dollar tree like I did.
3. Fold tops of page banners over and crease.
4. Hot glue over string. I also secured with tape
5. Hot glue shamrocks onto paper:

I found this printable at Funky Polka Dot Giraffe . I really do love my printables.

When I get my shelf down I will share it, just need a few more things.

Organized closet

So right after Christmas I decided it was time to organize my 6 yo closet. He was getting to the age where it was time to get rid of teh last of the little kid toys. He is all big boy now.

Here is it before. A few things wrong with this closet for him.

1.Games were to high for him to get too.

2.Legos where in a blue bucket and it was just to hard for him to find what he wanted.

Here it is now. I moved games farther down on shelf so he could get to them easier.I bought these containers at Walmart and used my new label maker (I got for Christmas) to lable everything.

Valentine's Recap

I didn't want to leave anything big for Wyatt since i knew he would get alot of candy at school. I had this foam box and just added the words Love You to it.
I got a box of chocolate heart at Walmart for $1 and the lego mini guy was around $4 at Toys R Us. I left it on his night stand to find when he woke up.We made these Valentine's for the kids in his class. Got the idea from here. This is not were I got the printable for it, but can't find it anywhere on the web. If I do see it I will post the link. Wyatt opening his Valentine bag from school.

Thanks for stopping by.

My poor Thickers are crammed into this one little container. I had to save them. :)I also had a bunch of them sitting on top of the others because there was just no room.I went to Target and bought these nice plastic containers. Sorted by color. And slapped on some labels.

Our Christmas Eve

We had a great Christmas eve. With some old and new traditions.

(NEW) We started out by going to the casino buffet for dinner, had some prime rib and dessert. I think we will add this every year. It was allot of fun.
*and Wyatt is making the face cause he was trying to hide the pizza in his mouth, LOL.

(OLD) We drive and do this every year earlier in the month, but never got around to it until this day. I really liked it though, nice thing to do right after dinner.
(OLD) Christmas Ever service at church.

(NEW/OLD) We always read a book, but we did the recorded ones that Grandma Marylee made for us. Which was nice cause I got to drink my hot chocolate instead of reading.

All in all it was a great day.

Boys Christmas

We had Colton, Ryan and Zach for the first week of winter break. They were going home the morning of Christmas Eve so we let them do there Christmas on Tuesday. Colton of course didn't want his picture taken, darn kid.Ryan and Zach were pretty excited we got them (used) IPod Touches.Colton got a ton of new tools.I love this pic of them. With their Christmas money they got from us and Grandma Marylee they all got Air Soft guns. They had so much fun, 3 days of being out side shooting each other. LOL
It was a great, loud, crazy week and I miss them all ready.

Coram Deo Kids Choir

This year our church's first kids choir. Wyatt wasn't to sure about singing and being in front of everyone. He did stand up there, but no singing.

WYA graduation

Class off 2011-2Our group. Colton's dad Charles, his littel sister, Nana and Papa, Wyatt, Zach, Ryan, Jeff Woods *(colton's mentor) Derek and me.The Governor of our Stae, Gregoire, was there to. I guess she is a huge supporter of this program and she has been at every graduation they have had since they opened. Pretty cool!It was hard to get a pic cause the kids move so fast. This is one od Colton's Cadre, but the funny thing is he is also one of Derek's friends who we haven't seen in several years. So Colton being at the Academy got them back together.
