Monthly Organizing Roundup: Kids Bedrooms

I am just jumping in this month, but it worked out perfect because this month I totally had redone my 3 yo sons closet.
He was wanting to pick out his own shirts every morning, so I was having to lift him up to the top bar. I don't have pics of the before but on the bottom of the closet were a set of those clip together wire baskets with his books and toys I didn't want him messing with.
So the new organization of the closet worked out great.
-I put his clothes are on bottom rod, now they are in his easy reach.
-We put shelves on top and now the books and toys I want him to stay out of are up high.
-Toys like lego and kinex are in plastic storage bins.
-Seems simple, but we put the shelves off to the side so we still had some room for our seasonal coats.

I like how you offset the shelves to allow for the coats. Great idea!

Organizing the closet seems like most of the battle in kids rooms. Super job!

Looks good. I like how you have his clothes on a low rod so he can dress himself.

I too added a shelf to my girls closet. Great job on your boys closet.

Making closets workable for children is one of the easiest and best things you can do! :) It made things much easier for our littles.
Great job!

I love how you organized his closet to be easier for your son to have some control over his own things. It's so important for them to have some ownership like that. Way to go!
