Summer is over and all my older kids have gone back to their dad's house for school so it is just now my 2yo. DH is still really busy with the new business so I still try to take him dinner if he's working late, but I never know when he'll be home heck I don't think he really knows either.
So I have been having a heck of a time with making menus and sticking to them. I just haven't been in the mood to cook or heck clean. My house has stayed clean, but I just feel so over whelmed lately. I just feel like I never get it all done, so what's the point. It is weird, I really do love to cook and clean, but just don't feel like it right now. So this week I am going to keep my meals simple and slowly try to get back in it.
So if any of you ladies have any ideas as to help with my SAHM duties I would really appreciate it.
So here are my ideas for this week-
Chili Cheese Potato wedges, salad
Cheesy Italian Shells Hamburger helper, green beans, rolls
Hamburgers on the grill (DH favorite)
Tortellini w/ sauce, bread sticks

Best of luck. Don't give up is the best advice that comes to mind as well as baby steps. It has taken me 13 years to get to a point where I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of the household chores and cooking! Of course I really don't care much for either one. :o
Good for you for menu planning. I can't seem to get started on that. One thing that has helped me at least try more on my 'chores' is participating in Smart Habit Saturday, you can find a link on my blog if you haven't seen it before. Creating a loose schedule & assigning some chores to different days helps it not get overwhelming or too behind. Some things like dishes & sweeping I still do daily of course.
