Enjoying our summer!

It was just to nice of a day Saturday not to take the boat out, but no one was available for it so we loaded up everyone into the truck and headed out to Tiger Lake for some fishing and sun on our own. We had alot of fun and Derek taught me how to drive the boat.

Wyatt is getting a lot braver by the water, I am hoping to have him jumping in by the end of summer, LOL. Next up swim lessons.Derek has been teaching Wyatt how to drive the boat, but was going a little fast and when the boat goes fast Dixie gets a little scared so he was glues to Derek. I wish my camera zoomed a little better, but it isn't that bad of a shot I guess. We were hoping to catch him getting a fish, but no such luck this time. Taking a dip in the lake.See he just keeps getting closer and closer.

I can't wait to get the other boys out on the boat I bet they will love it as much as we do.

Yesterday's Playdate

The main house is up top and the house below is their beach house. They kids had water gun fights. We had lunch.
They caught crabs and played in the sand, well rocks I guess it was a rocky shore so the kids had to keep their shoes on, but that didn't stop them from having tons of fun.

We had such a fun time over there, we went over at 1130 and next thing we knew one of her sons was home from school and it was 430. So we had a long fun day visiting our friends from preschool.

SYTYCD

I have to agree with sending Tony home, never really knew why they put him on. Personally I don't think he was good enough in the first place.

But Paris, sorry I just don't like Asuka, but to say that they had to many contemporary dancers so they took that in to consideration I don't think was fair. I think she was better than Asuka when dancing for their life.

alright there is my two cents. What do you think??

Update on family

-So as you all know Wyatt is NOW fully potty trained, I thought I had it down last week, but he had a few accidents. I told him the next time he did I was throwing away the poopy pants, but he wasn't having it (I just am so tired of my hands smelling). But after 2 accidents and the fear of me throwing away his underwear he now always goes to the potty. Heck we haven't even had any problems with big store bathrooms, he is still a little scared of the automatic flushers, but is doing good.

-My Paxil weaning is going well. I am on 5mg every other day. I would quit cold turkey now, but I just hate that whooshing feeling in my head and it would be worse if I quit completely. I did decide to order a colon cleanser that helps get rid of toxins in the body, I heard this might help get the meds out of my system. So I will be trying this this week.

-Now Derek has made some amazing changes these last several weeks, He quit dipping and drinking (except fight nights). The drinking started a few weeks ago, he went out with friends and had only 3 beers. He was really sick the next day he has just decided it is not worth it to feel like this (which really isn't normal for him),but he doesn't want to take any chances. Hey works for me, he now drinks Odules except on UFC fight nights, that night he does drink. He has gotten teased by his buddies, but so proud of him for sticking with it and not listening to them and knowing his body and family are more important than what his friends think. Darn peer pressure.

Also he decided just the other day he was quiting dipping, YEA, so excited about this one. He made me throw away all his spit bottles. I think this one might be harder though he was getting freaky last night, needing gum to chew on and getting agitated easy, but we can get through it.

So this is an update on our little family, our crazy little family.

Abby

Here are a few random shots of my niece, Abby, I took the other day. She is such a doll.

Kids Day Safety Fair

A great day out with Wyatt to the Kids fair.
You want to know something funny I actually took Colton and Ryan to this when they were little. I am pretty sure it was at least 10 -11 years ago, weird.

Wyatt got a balloon sword, he thought that was pretty cool.
He got to pet a tracking hound dog. They were so cute.
We saw Cool Tricks from the BMX riders.
Wyatt got to sit in the State Patrol car and the firetruck.
Wyatt loved the trampoline.
Afterwards we had lunch at Shari's daddy and wyatt's favorite place.

Signs its summer at our house

This one is more for me. We are gettin closer and closer to my sisters Beth (from CA) and Kim (from Hawaii) coming up for the summer. New this year, we started planting our garden and watching it grow.
The flip flops have taken over the shoe area.
Nana's pool is out and being filled.
My herbs are growing big.
The shirt has come off and the bubbles and water guns have come out.
